About Us

Tim Cota (far right) and Steve Majeres (far left) both grew up in a small Northern Minnesota community.  Steve and Tim’s years of experience in the golf course industry through construction to maintenance lead them to start Gopher Irrigation & Landscaping in 1999. 

Tim and Steve are both actively involved in the Glenwood Springs Youth Hockey Association as coaches.  Steve as the Bantam Head Coach (13-14 year old) and Tim as the Midget (high school age) Head Coach. 

Their love of landscaping and lawn care makes a good fit for their other passion – youth hockey.

At Gopher we have strong ties within our community and we take pride in that with our quality of service and commitment to our clients.  Many of our employees are also our hockey players which at Gopher Irrigation makes our company family tree an unique one that makes us proud.
