About Gopher
Tim grew up in a small Northern Minnesota community. He began his turf industry career as a golf course superintendent in his hometown while attending college at Bemidji State University. Tim moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1997 to work at The Aspen Glen Club during the construction phase and decided to start Gopher Irrigation in the spring of 1999.
Along with his passion for lawn care and landscaping, Tim has 25 years of youth hockey coaching experience. Starting in Minnesota as a freshman in college, Tim has continued to coach Youth Hockey in Glenwood Springs at the high school level. His love of landscaping and lawn care makes a good fit for his passion coaching youth hockey.
At Gopher we have strong ties within our community and we take pride in that with our quality of service and commitment to our clients. Many of our hockey players are also our employees in the summer months, which at Gopher Irrigation makes our company family tree a unique one that makes us proud.
